(Gravity Yoga)

Gravity Yoga is a class designed with an emphasis on improving flexibility in the key areas of the hips, spine and hamstrings. Integrate your learning from this class to include after training sessions of your chosen physical activities.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga Classes

These Vinyasa Flow yoga classes are beginner level and encourage active breath and movement across the whole body. They contain short sequences and foundation poses throughout which will provide you with the foundations to begin a daily practice at work or home .

  • Focus on multidirectional movement across the entire body 

  • Reverse the effects of sitting and poor posture

  • Improve balance and core strength

  • Increase ability to focus and remain calm

    About the Yoga Teacher

    Katie is a qualified RYT 200 Ashtanga/Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher and Gravity Yoga Teacher who has also been practicing yoga since 2011 with a background in Psychosomatic (Body-Mind) Therapy and Feng Shui. She has also been a past surf sports competitor and beach patrol member at Mermaid Beach AEME SLSC for 11 seasons and is a past recreational cyclist.

    Who are these classes not for?

    • People looking for yoga classes filled with advanced balance poses

    • Someone who is looking for longer 1.5-2.5 hour classes 

    • People with current illness or injury whose doctor has recommended that yoga is an activity that is not advisable for them at this time

    • For Gravity Yoga classes, if you are pregnant or have  hyperextended joints or hypermobility
